Who We Are
amy
Founder, Puppy Trainer, Veterinary Nurse
Amy owns the Polite Puppy Academy and has over 19years of experience working as a Veterinary Nurse. She loves all things puppies and dog behaviour and thrives on helping puppy parents through the best and worst of 'puppy-hood'.
Amy runs Puppy Preschool classes and our Sit Happens course. She also provides private sessions for those that need a little extra TLC.
At home you will find Amy relaxing with a wine by the fire with her hubby, cuddling 'Mavis' her Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever or wrangling her two young children.
Amy holds her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing, Diploma in Canine Behaviour and Training,
'Fear Free' certification, and 19years in the industry.
ash
Puppy Trainer, Veterinary Nurse
Ash is a Veterinary Nurse and has been in the industry for 8 years. She has a keen interest in puppy behaviour and a special soft spot for those little mischievous ones. When not at work you can find her adventuring with her family, camera in hand. Ash owns a tiny gangsta chihuahua named Clifford who thinks he is a doberman.
Ash holds her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing, is currently completing her 'Fear Free' certification and has been in the industry for 8 years.

Kira
Trainee Puppy Trainer
Kira is the youngest member of our team, with the biggest heart. She has a love for ALL puppies, especially rescue pups that have had a hard start in life. Watch out, Kira is a professional puppy cuddler and might sneak your puppy home if your
not watching.
At home you will find Kira making a mean coffee, or she can make you one at the SMAK coffee van, all while dreaming of her mastiff she wants to own
one day.
Kira is currently completing her Certificate II in Animal Studies and is our Puppy Playgroup teacher.
Sav
Puppy Trainer, Veterinary Nurse
Savannah is the newest member of our team, and we are so excited to have her.
Sav has worked locally as a Veterinary Nurse and Puppy Trainer for 5 years. Her future goals are to work within the RSPCA Cruelty Investigation Team and with dangerous dog behaviour work.
On her days off you will find her either dancing up a storm, or walking her crazy fur babies Callie the whippet and Pablo the Jack Russel X. Sadly her pups are not into dancing..
Sav holds her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing and is currently studying her Certificate IV in Behaviour and Training through the Delta Institute, due to be completed in 2023.
